About the Coronavirus
Facebook is supporting the global public health community’s work
to keep people safe and informed during the coronavirus public

by supporting industries in need and making it easier for people
to find and offer help in their communities.
Design Principles
-
Keep People safe and Informed
Ensuring everyone has access to accurate information and removing harmful content.
-
Foster Remote Connection
Facebook’s mission is to connect the world and build community, this became more relevant than ever when the world when into quarantine.
-
Support People with Resources
Support people with resources focusing on topics ranging from mental and emotional health to small business.
Keep People Safe and Informed
Facebook’s priority is to provide credible information to keep people safe and by connecting people with resources from the CDC and World Health Organization. During a scary and chaotic time, this suite of visuals aims to flex between delivering messages of care and pure utility as needed.
We created over 60 unique illustrations, here are just a few.
Foster Remote Connection
Facebook’s mission is to connect the world, so it’s no surprise that we invested in creating more ways for people to connect remotely.
Support People with Resources
From supporting local businesses to sharing well-being tips and resources and donating $2 million to support mental health crisis helplines – providing people with extra support at this time is a huge priority.
Thanking our Health Heroes
We designed lots of ways to thank our frontline health care workers.
Y’all are the real MVPs.
